Kathryn Cesarz physical theatre devised new works artist performance

   "   I have traveled so that my vertebrae fell apart, one by one, until I was a scattered bag of bricks. That was when my legs walked deeper and deeper into the dry, soft sand, heavy and inviting. I was swallowed by the deserts of it all. "    

Women transform into beasts, peoples' hair mysteriously grows long overnight, and souls come back to reunite with something they have lost in death. Featuring an ensemble of actors, singers, musicians, and movers, this multidisciplinary epic aims to transport and reconnect.

EMILY was featured at the 2016 Milwaukee Fringe Festival.

   "    Little cat walked in the window, and Raymond snuck milk from the icebox. Here little kitty he said, have a lap and a nap. Mother didn’t know. Mother wouldn’t know. Maybe buy the milk with found change to feed kitty so Matka doesn’t know. "
